Great Debut!
This book was referred to me via a friend that always recommends a terrific read. I didn't even bother seeing what it was about. Once I started, I saw it was about Greek Mythology. Not ashamed to say I'm not much of a fan, but the story sucked me in. A mother and daughter cursed to become a Sphinx for two days every month. Considered monsters, they are always being hunted, forced to be in a state of constant motion. When the daughter, Hope, is forced to be on her own, she settles down and starts to make friends. Of course there's a boy. A boy that is very much a part of Hope's survival or demise. This is a great debut by Raye Wagner, and I'm looking forward to Book 2!
